In the Instıtute of Banking and Insurance at the Marmara University, in addition  to its masters' thesis and non-thesis program in the field of banking, the stock exchange, islamic banking and finance, and insurance, it offers doctorate programs, as well.

 

Courses carry out  on weekdays between 09:00 – 17.00 for thesis programs and between 18.30 – 22.15  for non-thesis programs.

 

Our Masters and Ph.D. courses are given by a distinguished academic staff in the field as well as experienced senior executives in the financial sectors.

 

The study period is determined 2+1  years (2 for study, 1 for possible extensions) for masters programs and 4+2 (4 for study, 2 for possible extensions) years for Ph.D. programs.

 

Students admissions are on fall and spring. The number of students in thesis and non-thesis programs and doctoral programs as follows:

 

•    15 students for each master programs including Banking, Capital Market and Stock Exchange, Insurance

•    25 students for each non-thesis programs including Banking, Capital Market and Stock Exchange, Insurance

•    15 students for each Ph.D. programs in Banking, Capital Market and Stock Exchange, Insurance
