Training - Instructor Guide

  • Candidates who will apply to master's programs must have a bachelor's degree or be a student in the last semester of their undergraduate education for conditional pre-admission.
  • Candidates who will apply to doctoral programs must have a master's degree or be a student in the last semester of their master's education for conditional pre-admission.
  • Those who graduated from non-thesis master's programs cannot apply to doctoral programs, but those who graduated from non-thesis master's programs before 06/02/2013 can apply.
  • Applicants who are eligible to graduate must submit their graduation certificates obtained from their University or via e-Government on the final registration date. In addition, they are required to appear as graduates in the Higher Education Information System ( YÖKSİS)  . Candidates who cannot graduate before the final registration date will not be registered, even if they have won as a principal.
  • Candidates; University, GPA, etc. It will be taken through YÖKSİS  . For this reason, those who are not registered with YÖKSİS are required to complete the necessary registration procedures from the University from which they graduated or graduated. Candidates whose information cannot be obtained through YÖKSİS cannot complete their applications. -Candidates who have/will graduate from a University abroad will enter their information on the system themselves. Those who do not have a university name can choose the 'Overseas (other) university option. https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/yuksekogretim-kurulu-baskanligi
  • Candidates who will graduate/will graduate from a university abroad must have a grade point average calculated in a 4-point or 100-point system in their transcripts. This calculation is not made by our University.
  •  Candidates can apply to one  program for Doctorate and Master with Thesis programs, and at most  two  different programs   for Masters without Thesis.  Information about the Interview Places and dates will be announced on the Institute's website .
  • Those who are registered with Thesis or Doctorate in other Higher Education Institutions must cancel their current registration before final registration to our Institute .
     
  • Approved preferences cannot be deleted or changed.
  • ALES/GRE/GMAT  The results of this exam  are valid for 5 (five)  years from the date they are announced. PhD  65 , MS  60 );
  • a)  ALES condition is not required in the applications of graduates of doctorate / proficiency in art / specialty in medicine / specialty in dentistry / specialization in veterinary medicine / specialty in pharmacy, and the evaluation of these candidates is made in accordance with the relevant article of the Graduate Framework Regulation.
  • b) The condition of having entered ALES is not required for applications for Master's without Thesis and foreign quota .
  • YDS (Foreign Language Certificate) ( These exams  are valid for  5 (five) years from the date they are held  , for equivalent foreign languages, it is valid for 5 years if a validity date is not specified on the language certificate.) 60 points  for PhD and Master's programs with thesis teaching in a foreign language  , 40 points  for Master's programs with thesis teaching in Turkish  (YÖKDİL, YDS, E-YDS or   an equivalent score from the international foreign language exam whose equivalence is accepted by the ÖSYM Administrative Board  )   
    1. * The Arabic Language Certificate is invalid in the Arabic   Language and Rhetoric Doctorate program.  
    2. * There is no foreign language requirement in non-thesis master's programs.
    3. * Foreign national candidates applying for a PhD are required to submit a Language Certificate other than their mother tongue.
  • Candidates must attend all exams and interviews to be announced by the relevant Department. Otherwise, they are not taken into account in the success evaluation. In this context, excuses are not accepted.
  • Candidates to be interviewed are determined as a result of the preliminary evaluation of the relevant jury within the framework of ALES, graduation grade, professional knowledge evaluation and other principles determined by the Senate. The number of candidates to be interviewed; Except for the Non-Thesis Master's programs, the program quota is twice the quota.
  • Candidates with TRNC Nationality can apply to the quota determined for TR Citizens. However, they have to meet the current ALES requirement in the relevant program.
  • Blue Card holders can only apply from one nationality.

  • Equivalence Certificate ( for Turkish Citizen ) ; Candidates who are Turkish citizens who have completed their undergraduate or graduate education abroad; They are required to obtain a diploma equivalency certificate from the Council of Higher Education  . Candidate applying for Diploma Equivalency Certificate can apply, but must be submitted after the document is received during final registration. Foreign national candidates who will apply for a master's degree or doctorate do not need to apply for equivalence.
  • Contribution fees for foreign candidates for Master's and Doctorate Programs with Thesis; Annual Master's programs with Thesis are 5,000 TL, and PhD programs are 6,000 TL. Those who do not document that they have a blue card will also pay this fee. 
  • TOM ER certificate . ( Compulsory for foreign applicants ) ( Compulsory for  at least  B2  Level Turkish programs)  (Not required from graduates of an undergraduate or graduate program in any higher education institution in Turkey or abroad whose language of instruction is Turkish .)
  • School Recognition Certificate  (For foreign applicants); School recognition certificate will be delivered to our institute during Final Registration for Graduate Programs. Click for the Announcement on the Recognition and Equivalence Procedures of the Council of Higher Education (25.05.2016)  .
  • Excuses are not accepted due to applications and registrations not made on the relevant dates.
  • Some of the programs announced in the quota table have prerequisites, space limitations and related conditions. Compliance with these conditions is mandatory.
  • The documents uploaded to the system must be approved and fully legible, otherwise they will be deemed invalid.
  • Programs that do not reach the sufficient number of students may not be opened. (The number of sufficient students to provide education in the program is determined by the Institute.)
  • No refund will be given to candidates who voluntarily cancel their registration from the Non-Thesis Master's programs.
  •  Non-Thesis Master's fees for the year 2022 will be announced on the program basis on the web page of our institute. The case of making installments depends on the agreement to be made with the relevant bank. In case of installments, the necessary announcement   will be made on the website .
  • Documents will be checked and approved by institute staff. For this reason, it will be useful to have the documents with you during the application.

  • For backup; “After calculating ALES, Transcript Grade, Professional Knowledge Evaluation and Interview, the candidates applying to our graduate programs are ranked from the highest score to the lowest, and the main list is determined as much as the announced quota, other successful candidates are included in the list as substitutes. Empty quotas are announced for registration for the principals who do not register on the final registration dates. Pre-registration is taken from the backups in the list by taking a petition on the relevant date(s). This petition is for the determination of the candidates who are entitled to final registration. Substitutes who have not submitted a pre-registration petition cannot obtain the right to register, even if their score is high. All candidates who have pre-registered with a petition are ranked from the highest to the lowest at the end of the day. A spare list as much as the vacant quota according to the success order, announced for final registration. Reserves who have the right to final registration apply to our Institute for final registration on the relevant date(s) and complete the registration process. (Since the reserve lists will be determined according to the petitions, they are announced on the web pages of our institute.


  • For Horizontal Transfer; The documents that will not be applied online will be delivered directly to the institute in person.
  • Students who have completed at least one semester of a postgraduate program in a higher education institution outside the university and have been successful in all their courses can be admitted to the postgraduate programs opened at the University through lateral transfer within the framework of the principles stated below.
  • Candidates applying for lateral transfer must fulfill the foreign language requirements in their graduate applications.
  • Applicants for Horizontal Transfer 
  • Proof of not receiving disciplinary action. (Transcript can also be specified.)
  • Transcript (certificate of success)
  • The contents of the courses taken and the curriculum. (Institute Approved)
  • TR ID copy
  • Official letter from the Graduate School indicating the status of the student (the date of registration of the student must be specified)
  • ALES and Foreign Language certificate
